Recently,the Notice on Promoting the List of Typical Cases of Technology-Empowered Public Services was jointly issued by the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission，the General Office of the Ministry of Education and other three departments. The notice presents a selection of technology-empowered achievements that have won public satisfaction and benefited communities at the grassroots level in fields of education, healthcare and elderly care. The Case of Empowering Teaching, Learning, Management and Evaluation with “Jixia Smart Education” to Create New Digital-Intelligent Talent Cultivation Scenarios, submitted by SDUT, was selected as one of the top ten typical cases in the field of education.
SDUT attaches great importance to empowering education reform through digital intelligence. Having deployed the “Jixia Smart Education” platform in 2025, the university adopted a domestic digital intelligence infrastructure with independent intellectual property rights based on indigenous IT innovation and deployed the DeepSeek large model locally. The platform constructed educational knowledge graphs, AI tools, and intelligent agents, and has been used to drive teaching reform, restructure curricula, support personalized learning and practice, and explore whole-process assessment and evaluation. Focusing on “smart teaching, personalized learning, multi-dimensional assessment, and intelligent management”, it has advanced the in-depth development of SDUT’s education and teaching reform.
In recent years, the AI-empowered courses and cases of SDUT have repeatedly won outstanding case awards from institutions such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Shandong Provincial Education Department, and the China Association for Educational Technology, and have been publicized and promoted by the Information Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Education Management Information Centre of the Ministry of Education, and the China Association of Higher Education, etc. This selection as a typical case was an important reflection of the university’s achievements in AI-empowered education and teaching reform. SDUT will continue its exploration and practice in advancing the digital transformation of education and deepening technology-empowered teaching reform in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial Education Department, so as to comprehensively enhance teachers’ digital literacy and the quality of talent cultivation.
